Dog Training

Introducing our new Puppy & Beginner Good Manners Program:

Training That Works for YOUR Lifestyle

Are you the owner of a new puppy, rescue or dog in need of good manners?

Are you interested in taking classes with your pooch but don’t quite know where to start?

This is the perfect program! Our clean, upscale and intimate setting will make our 6 series class enjoyable for both you and your dog. Classes will be held (weather permitting) outdoors on our large, spacious and fully fenced Fire Hydrant Terrace. During the last 15 minutes there is a “Play Time” which allows your doggy to run and socialize with their classmates.

Classes are taught by Pat Schneider whose in home training service “Aint Misbehaven” has been serving the needs of WNY’s dogs and their owners for a decade. We are thrilled that Pat has chosen to offer her expertise and unique, relaxed and practical style of training to our clients.

During your sessions:
•No question is too small or too silly to ask
•We know that your dog might not be perfect — don’t feel embarrassed!
• It has been a long day — our classes are designed to hold your attention and be enjoyable!

Class One

Everything You Always Wanted to Know – The Real Answers

We will cover the basic beginning steps including potty training, crate training, jumping and play biting. What behavior is acceptable? And what are not… all classes include the opportunity for your dog to have playtime and socialize with people and other dogs.

Class Two

The Big Sit

Yes, we show you what it takes to get your dog to sit. We also cover issues discussed the week prior and discuss problems and progress.

Class Three

There’s More to Sit

Now lets stay. To further our progress we will cover “down” as well. Remember each class includes a discussion on problems and questions.

Class Four

Walk Like a Nice Dog

This class will cover the “heel” which in regular people language is having your dog walk on your left hand side, at an even shoulders length — no more crazy dog on a leash.

Class Five

See, It’s Not That Hard

Now your dog has mastered the basic sit and stay commands along with becoming comfortable in social settings. Let’s make him “come” to you.

Class Six

We Did It!

Great job! During the past six weeks these classes have increased the bond between you and your dog. Your dog is now calmer, more self-assured and confident. This class focuses on reviewing what you’ve both learned and how to maintain great behavior in the future.
